Fries were dark because the oil is dirty and soggy. Sandwich was mediocre. Service was bordering on terrible; the young waitress was more interested in discussing her anxiety issues with everyone than actually being friendly or doing her job.
Very impressed with the new owners of Vicky's we had the poutines and they were great! It's been awhile since we've enjoyed breakfast in town so next it will be to try breakfast out at Vicky's and I hope everybody else tries it as well!
The staff is great. The current owners are wonderful humans and have always treated us extremely well. Like humans. The food is always made fresh. And portions are AWESOME.
Good food and plenty off it. The bacon cheeseburger I had was great. I ordered a small fries and there was enough for 2 people. The service was also freindly and fast.
I have gone to Vickie's, in fact drove out from Winnipeg to stock up just for the cheeseburgers and fries for over 30 years. The new owners have changed something and the fries look the same but taste like grease now. Thumbs down on the former famous fries. However, the cheeseburgers are still excellent. I hope they go back to the former way of preparing the fries because it is no longer worth the trip just for the cheeseburgers.
